A very unusual year is over! I'd say there were good and bad points for us. It was nice spending more time at home. The virus and the associated SOPs were an interesting experience. I love being able to work from home. However the kids' education and activities were negatively impacted - online learning is not effective especially for SE. Activities basically just went down the drain.
It was a rocky year work-wise but I still had a job. Hubby's F&B business was of course affected. At least overall it wasn't losing money as he managed to negotiate a discount on the rental.
At the last minute I decided to check if the club nearby was open. It was, and it wasn't crowded. So we had a good dinner to round off 2020. :)
Last dinner of 2020!
Sushi and fries combo
Happy new year everyone!
It was a very unusual year which I hope we will never have to experience again in the future. So many sectors are affected negatively and many don't have a job. Hope things will improve in the days to come. But looking at the high number of infected cases can be scary. Nice dinner to close the year 2020.
ReplyDeleteYeah enough already! Haha. High number of cases are possibly due to more testing being done now. Still scary indeed.
DeleteSushi dinner! I am sure SE and JE enjoyed their dinner.
ReplyDeleteA change from kakak's cooking. Well she also had a good dinner with us.
DeleteGood that your husband business is not losing $$$. Does he offer his regular customers delivery services? I read some pubs and Eateries with liquor offer delivery services for the liquor.
ReplyDeleteThe drinking part is a social activity, as I understand home delivery wouldn't meet the need. Oh well making less money is way better than losing money.
DeleteThe food part (which he generally doesn't have), he said delivery companies charge a lot. I think the stall operators don't offer delivery.
Nice dinner to end the year...sushi and fries is such a unique combo. Is this is a fusion restaurant in the club house?
ReplyDeleteHeh nothing so fancy. There are just different types of food available and the Japanese 'stall' was a recent addition. Sushi and fries were what the kids wanted so I figured why not.
