Oh but I was disappointed with the concert. Her single dance was mostly in dim lighting and the girls spent lots of time on the floor. Why oh why couldn't they have arranged for the girls to take turns being in the limelight? All I want is ONE decent photo of my girl. :(
SE is on the floor at the back.
Only ONE girl got to be in the middle (parents gave generous donation to the school or what??)
What to do... the dance was over in minutes. As before, it wasn't proper dancing when there are 24 students on stage together - mostly moving around in coordination. Skip to the AFTER photos.

ya the teachers should have known every parent wants a nice clear photo of their child and to arrange the dance in such a way that everyone has to dance individually in the middle of the circle. so next year SE will be in primary school, same as JE. she must be looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I watched the video I recorded, that girl in the middle was twirling right arm, then left, then both, then right again... and I was like GNNNNGGGGNNN. Her "supporting circle" just did simple moves and all on the floor. Bah.
