Full car boot

Weekdays we are in our apartment near to school and my parents, weekends we go back to our house.  Somehow we always look like we're moving house!  Food and other supplies for the week are procured on weekends and would need to be brought to the apartment.  Some clothes have to be brought here and there (contrary to what hubby thinks, it's NOT practical to just buy more clothes).  Partially-consumed food like fruit and milk also have to be brought.

Also it's not just TWO places but THREE - my parents' house being the third.  Fridays we leave from there to go home.  While Sundays we go from home to apartment.  So JE's school bag will follow us 20km to our house, then return 20km to the apartment.

And the kids always bring their soft toys:

Pink bunny bag for Jojo's toys. My toys are in BeeBee

Thought BeeBee looked cute peeking out like that

Hence the full car boot every single week!

  1. It can be quite troublesome but in a way, can treat it as packing for a weekly short vacation. As long as the kids are not complaining, it can be fun.

    1. The kids don't see hubby during weekdays. Aside from that they're fine with the arrangement.

  2. So the house is left without occupants during weekdays? Must be tiring for you since I guess you are the one doing most of the packing and you have to bring your work clothes and work laptop and everything. So at which place is laundry done?

    1. The house will have hubby in there haha. It's nearer his workplace than the apartment, plus the apartment only has 2 rooms and limited beds so he doesn't sleep over at all.

The apartment IS fully furnished and laundry is done at both places. I leave this part to our maid. Some items need to be ready for certain days so she plans for these.
