Genting trip 2019

The kids were off from school couple weeks back since classrooms were needed for the UPSR exams.  Well, extra holiday then!  Genting this time.  First thing we noticed upon arrival, our favourite makan place Bubbles n Bytes had closed.  Sigh.

Gone are the days hubby was a big gambler and got free stays at suites.  Our first time staying at First World (luckily for free).  Oh no photos... the girls were at first comparing the size of the room, there being no bathtub, having a view into other rooms of the hotel.  Later they settled down to iPads while snacking and the room got too messy to take photos heh.  Guess it wasn't too bad really.

Hmm are you looking at us??

Mummy says if we stay in a different room every night, we can stay 20 years!

I had been looking forward to the food.  Eat we did.  Motorino for pizza (nice lah but way pricier than Bubbles and Bytes), buffet lunch at Coffee Terrace, dimsum at Wan Hoi and Oversea, Go Noodles (never a queue at the Genting outlet).

Pizza... ok it's quite good also

Gonna whack my piggy bun

It was Mooncake festival so we got to see the mooncake deco.

Sit on this giant mooncake stool

No pushing no pushing!

Theme was quite nicely done.  Then again I always have a soft spot for bunny rabbits. :)  The kids had fun posing with these statues...

This bunny is the cutest

This bunny is sleeping

To be continued...

  1. When food is concerned, there are many choices in Genting. The kids are enjoying themselves.

  2. Ok, can eat leisurely up there since no queues for Go Noodle. Weather is cool so is good compared to the hot weather in kl. Very nice photos with SE and JE!
