This is what's happening to SE. She has cried a few times since starting school (which has been... ONE week only). We have a plan to catch up on homework tonight. Will see how it goes.
Delaying her homework will cause the homework to pile up. Must think of something to cause her to willingly finish her homework by herself. Probably she is finding her homework boring.
ReplyDeleteYeah vicious cycle. The more homework piles up, the more unhappy she gets. At this age she doesn't get it yet that unpleasant things have to be done or they will just lie in wait.
