Pizza time

The girls were asking to make pizza.  The last couple of times I made the dough from scratch, which requires lots of pre-planning for the dough to rest, kneaded and then rest again overnight.  This time I took a short cut hehe.  The bit hiding at the bottom of the photo is Mission wraps.

Lesson learnt from previous times, have lots of cheese (another half is not in the photo) and bacon (you can never have too much bacon!) besides the other ingredients.

Ta-dah!

The kiddos were NOT putting in some of the ingredients - onion, garlic, pineapple.

All righty, let's start

Mummy wants sesame seeds on her pizza...

Done! A toast to our hard work!

Let's check out the taste. Mmmmm

Can never have too much cheese!

I was thinking we should reduce the quantity.  We made 6 pizzas since had already used 2 wraps (8 in pack) earlier.  But we had 4 for lunch and the rest for breakfast the next day.  So it looks like 6 is fine after all!   I thought the wraps were fine, the kids said they prefer homemade dough.  Will see where I am on the hardworking/lazy spectrum for next time hehe.

  1. They do sell ready made pizza dough, all rolled out and flat, just add topping. I made wraps recently with the mission wrap. It was a hit with the kids. Panko fried fish/chicken fillet with scrambled egg inside. Sauce was tomato/shiracha+mayo.

    1. Those imported gwailo types are super expensive! My homemade ones are fine just that need to start more than a day earlier.

Yep we do wraps too but so far Jane's creations aren't big successes - not so suitable for wraps.

    2. If you rajin, Bagus in Sek. 13 near Giant sells pizza dough. Can try getting from there if want. I used to have a recipe that doesn't require too much proofing. Don't remember where that recipe now

  2. Your home made pizzas have so much toppings which I like. Just look at the amount of cheese in the last picture. Lol!

  3. Wah making your own dough is hard work!! I'm the lazy kind haha... how about buying those ready-made pizza bases? Maybe they found the wraps too thin.

  4. can use normal bread and let them put pizza toppings. maybe they prefer bread base which is thicker and softer than these thin wraps.
