Finally at the 3rd visit, the two teeth came out. SE was kicking and screaming, but the dentist managed to quickly grab hold of the teeth. One was already slightly shaky (the one without the root), the other wasn't (see the long root intact). After extracting the first tooth, the dentist managed to twist the second one 90 degrees before SE clamped up her mouth. Took a few minutes to get her mouth open again then that tooth came out fast. Hopefully SE's other permanent teeth will come up properly and we don't have to go through all this multiple times! This successful visit cost RM120 so overall it was RM180 for these first two milk teeth of hers.
The two problematic teeth
SE's birthday is on May 9. She chose to celebrate later on a public holiday so they could have a longer time to play. JE bought her a small gift on her actual birthday:
And we went out for a family dinner the weekend after her birthday.
My two girls
And all of us
So in actual fact, SE had quite a few celebrations this round!
At last, the teeth were taken out! Sweet and happy smile on everyone's faces. Happy birthday to SE!
ReplyDeleteYes at last!
DeleteAh, good, finally the two teeth are out. Wow, the dentist must be very skillful to be able to extract her teeth while she was kicking and screaming. SE must be very happy to have more than one celebration for her 7th birthday!
ReplyDeleteI do like that young dentist. Totally not easily to grip the small teeth when the patient is struggling away.
Deletedid SE talk about her teeth removal experience? if yes, what did she say?
DeleteShe was so happy haha. Didn't ask too much.
Deleteyes, just let her be
Deletehappy and forget about the experience.
