Cafe-hopping

What to do during MCO on weekends when we are stuck in our apartment?  We go cafe-hopping.  I'm not 100% sure this is allowed as the rules aren't too clear.  There is the 2 pax limit per car (just revised to 3 pax) - check, we get there on foot so not in a car.  Max person per table - check, and shop says ok.  SOPs all followed.

However there's also the guideline that people leave the house only to buy essentials.  Then again dine-in is allowed (unlike the original MCO). So....??  Oh we just go lah.

I will stir. No!  I will stir!!

Check out the taste. Mmmm

Not cheap though heh.  Two drinks and a piece of cake cost RM40 which can easily buy us lunch instead.

Another day...

Food, drinks... ready

JE is already asking to go again this coming weekend.

  1. Wah, looks like JE enjoys cafe hopping! One mother and two children dining in should be ok gua unlike the family of four adults got saman they say after check their ic all from same household. The recommendation is to stay home unless really necessary to go out is to prevent getting infected, to lower the risk of exposure only.

    1. After cafe-hopping cannot eat lunch haha.

Methinks gotta strike a balance. We want to stay safe yet don't know how long this is going to last.

    2. Main objective is to stay safe, away from asymptomatic infectious people and places. If striking a balance, can do so then good.

  2. It is not easy for the kids to stay home all the time during MCO. Since the cafe is within walking distance, I suppose it is alright to visit once in a while as long as SOP is strictly observed.

    1. Don't want them to be cooped up for too long.
