A week later, SE got to have her birthday lunch at The Teddy. It was a Saturday (as she said that was nearer her actual birthday) and the roads were packed!! I was so afraid we'd miss our booking since tables would be given away after 10mins. Anyway, made it on time.

My fried squid pasta in butter sauce was delicious. The kids had the grilled chicken burger which JE liked. SE said she doesn't like burgers that much. For now, they always share one portion of food - usually supplemented by soup/dessert - as a portion each would be too much.

good to see that daddy (not teddy) is joining for the birthday celebration too! yea, goin out for shopping & dining on Saturday is a nitemare with terrible jams!
ReplyDeleteActually daddy was a bit of a nuisance according to me... ordered that bear on waffles dessert and insisted it be served immediately. While I had been planning for SE to order the one she wanted at the end of lunch. Ended up dessert arrived and daddy kept asking the kids to eat it while they were eating the burger. And finally they had enough and didn't want to order another for themselves.

DeleteWhat a lovely family photo! Good choice to have the birthday celebration at this cafe as the balloon bears and teddy bears make a pretty decoration to include in photos. I must visit this place next year and order fried squid pasta in butter sauce since you say it is nice. What is the white toy that SE is holding in her hand?
ReplyDeleteNext year as in 2023 ar? Haha. I'd eyed that fried squid the earlier visit also, but decided on a cute meal instead since that was our first time there. The pastas don't have bear deco on them.
