Made a 2d1n trip to Kuala Selangor for the school holidays. It's the first time without hubby and I was a bit anxious. What if we get a tyre puncture, what if things happen. Comforted myself that according to Waze, it takes less time to drive to Kuala Selangor than to my office. :)
The kids were so excited, especially SE. She kept saying we hadn't gone on holiday for a long time. Which is true, it has been 2 years. I have been printing out a photo book yearly, and for 2021 we really didn't go anywhere at all.
Then 3 days before going, SE developed rashes all over. These were identified as ringworm (nothing to do with worms but a fungal infection). She was still fine to go so we went ahead.
And this is where we stayed.

Although... SE's ringworm problem is still around.
So exciting. Yes, I would be nervous too by worrying about the "what ifs" ha ha...That is a fun and interesting A-shaped house and everything inside also A-shaped. I love the balcony view. Glad you had a safe and smooth drive both ways.

DeleteThe A-shape house is so quaint. I would love to stay there. Good choice for a staycation. So fun! Did you go see a doctor for the ringworm? Got meds to sapu n meds to eat. If eat meds for ringworm, it will be cleared with no issues at all. If sapu ubat only may take a while to clear the ringworm.

DeleteI just got anti-fungal cream from the pharmacy. It has been 2 weeks and the spots are still appearing. According to the internet it takes 2-4 weeks to go away, so hoping the going away starts soon.
i would also worry on the 'what-ifs' coz there is no backup driver...But worst case scenario, just dial the helpline from insurance company. The place seems like a peaceful kampung house.
