Went out without hubby recently to a relatively-expensive place. JE pointed to drinks, I said no. Cue JE being moody for rest of meal. Sigh. I did consider giving in, but really didn't want her to take things like overpriced drinks for granted. Maybe as a treat then ok.
*Grumpy
Anyway she can always order a drink if hubby is around - hubby would order them himself anyway.
Heh heh me gots a drink
Sip sip sip heh heh
Told her we can make 10 drinks like this at home for the same price. HAHAHA.
EDIT: Realised JE is wearing the same shirt on both occasions!
I seldom order drinks at eatery, unless it is included in the set meal or in some kind of drinking session with friends. It's a rip-off for a drink tht costs RM16!
ReplyDeleteHigh five! Exactly hehe.
DeleteI am mixed about this. If I don't want to be a wet blanket then I will order the RM9 to rm16 drinks because if so hard up for 💰 then just eat at home or eat at coffee shops where drinks are just RM 4 , no need go to fancy cafes.
ReplyDeleteI agree it's different strokes for different folks. And its MY thinking that paying for well-cooked food is worth it while drinks can easily be made at home. Still.... if it's my money then my way goes!
DeleteSome restaurants don't allow drinking own water from your home in the restaurants so how?
