JE was in the top 10 in class and 89th in the school. Not great (I was always at the top in MY time!) but guess she's doing all right. Definitely thanks to Ah Mah and Ah Kong for their dedication to the kids. Me and hubby are 'banana' Chinese and thus pretty useless in a Chinese environment.
And now that the school holidays has started, time for some rest and relaxation. Plus a bit of study and preparation too of course.
Peace
It's always nice to have good teachers that care about kids and the learning!
ReplyDeleteYeah.. more so since this school isn't privately-funded and teachers' salaries aren't high. So I'm really happy getting a dedicated teacher!
DeleteThanks to all the good and dedicated teachers! Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteChinese lessons are much tougher than Kebangsaan lessons so cannot compare mommy's results when young with hers. JE is tough to have survive chinese school since she does not understand the language much when she started. Well done JE!
ReplyDeleteHehe yeah.
Deleteshe will improve along the way, just like my youngest, she refused to even allow me to speak mandarin with her when she was little, after 6 years in primary school, she managed to pass both her recent UPSR Chinese papers.
ReplyDeleteI'm just keeping my fingers crossed since EVERYTHING is in Chinese! Well except BM and English haha.
