Merry Xmas!

I managed to take some annual leave and was planning to take the kids somewhere.  Already planned Ipoh and a beach nearby.  Then hubby balked at going anywhere with the high number of Covid cases.  Viewpoints differ - cases are high but how long should we cower at home?

Decided to see Xmas deco at just one mall and selected 1u.  Went without hubby since he refused to go.

See? This is a gnome

Mummy says to POSE

Pose we shall!

Mummy likes this gnome with no eyes

Gnome house behind us

Inside the gnomes' house. Cheers!

Merry Xmas everyone!

This gnome/hobbit type of deco appeals to me.  But it was confined to this area.  Guess they had to watch costs during these times.

  1. Like your hubby, we are also staying put. Everyday watching the Covid-19 updates. All holiday plans postponed for the time being. I like the decorations at 1U. Your girls very photogenic. I also like the photo of you and the girls.

  2. Nice decors & photos. Your girls learned some creative posts from the gymrama school?😆 I didn't go anywhere during the holidays. The increased no. of cases is too scary...

  3. I wouldn't put it that way - cower at home. Home is our safe haven where we feel comfortable so staying at home is relaxing. Why cower?

Your husband is so open minded. He thinks it is risky to go out and wouldn't want to be exposed to the risk but yet he allows you to bring SE and JE out. If me, I will veto and say all no go. I told my spouse if he wants to go places that are risky, he has to quarantine himself for 14 days at another house and only allowed to be home on day 15 if no symptoms.

    1. You're more on the conservative side. Heh yeah my husband said 'if you take them what can I do?'. That was in response to going on holiday somewhere but I downgraded to just going to the mall. Wonder if going out in Selangor is more dangerous than actually going outstation though.

    2. Cower as in hiding at home. In fear.

    3. Stay at home is what DG advice since hospitals are At the max capacity. Pity the frontliners. Yes, why do you feel that you are hiding at home in fear? Why so dark view point. All of us are relaxing at home to lessen the risk so that frontliners don't have to work so hard to treat us if we get infected. Can never know whether it is safer or not going outstation than selangor because it is a fact that there are asymptomatic people out there so all it takes is being at the wrong place at the wrong time and one asymptomatic person sneeze on while not wearing a mask. Is it worth risking it? Unless one is prepared to face the consequences of getting it.

    4. If go out, follow SOP. Life goes on. Like I've been going to the office daily starting June so it felt normal. But 3 months later in Sept when our team was asked to be onsite at the office, one guy said sorry he doesn't feel safe to go out. Question then is, when?

I stay home and next thing I know, a neighbour got Covid and WA messages came to avoid the common playground. So, would going to the mall have been safer?

But you are right also. Cases are very high at the moment.

    5. Question of when is totally safe is only when there are very few cases with mass testing. Like my company now got cases and is asked to close totally for a few days to clean and a few rounds of contact tracing still find ppl who are asymptomatic. So it is definitely risky to go to aircond places now. Common playground is open air so is a bit better if no one is there when u all go n u all wipe the equipments before touching them. No, going to mall is not safer. I go supermarket very fast like 20 mins also is risky. Just hope I get less virus load which is not enough to infect me.

  4. Thank you for the photos of 1u decor. I didn't go any mall to take Xmas decor. Just that one trip to Midvalley mall to buy some things on 22 Nov and so happens some decor is up so took some photos.

Your photos are nice photos, especially with SE and JE nice poses. Must print into a photo book for easier reference, easy to look at for your parents And relatives. You 3 remove your masks just for the photo taking, right? Who took the photo of all 3 of you? Your helper?
