Food for the reunion dinner - steamed grouper, salt fried prawns, braised pork belly, fish maw. Things were scaled down a bit due to the situation but it was still a good dinner.
Hubby started having some wine at CNY. He'd gone without alcohol since the surgery, which is definitely his longest period ever in recent times!
Good spread of food
We took some photos around the house the next day. Kids kept complaining about their uncomfortable clothes... well fortunately they didn't need to wear them for long.

I like salt fried prawns too. That is a good spread of food for reunion dinner. In the old days kids look forward to wearing pretty CNY clothes because they seldom get to have new clothes to wear. These days modern kids are different and they love to wear t-shirts.

The food is very good too although u say they are not much but they are a lot to me. Good also that your husband is able to join in the cny celebration and take nice photos with you all. ReplyDeleteWell we did have fewer people compared to last year. But yeah food tasted food and I'm glad alcohol consumption wasn't through the roof as it usually is every year haha.
