It's still the year-end school holidays. Since we couldn't go anywhere this round, we stayed home and made food for fun.
Baked churros... fried tastes better, but baked is healthier. Kiddos went wild with the mini choc chips deco.
We made this!
Line up, all you colours
Hard at work
Check out my little bear
Made cut-out cookies too. Ms Clumsy somehow tipped a whole tray onto the floor.

Well limited things to do at home right. Now that MCO 2.0 has started, we're stuck in our apartment for 2 weeks. Can't be making food for now - no oven, no baking equipment, not much space.
SE is very skillful in making those cute shapes with the tong yuen dough. Oh, you all decided to spend MCO 2.0 at your apartment because it is within 10 km radius of your parents' place I guess. You will still be working at the office, right? Because I see many companies also let their staff work in the office.
ReplyDeleteYeah better for the kids at my parents. They get a structured timetable for study, play, nap, food.
DeleteNah will be wfh. Was scheduled to start to be onsite but called off due to MCO 2.0.
Why stuck at apartment? Your house is at another district which is impossible to go back during weekend?
ReplyDeleteWell yes our house IS in a different district, but the problem is more the 2pax per car rule. The moment kena a roadblock with 4 pax in the car.... gone case.
DeleteMaking food is a good past time, better than being on the ipad or hand phone most of the time. SE is good with her hands making those cute animals tong yuen. Is it because you are not allowed to cross district to return to your house?
ReplyDeleteYeah always need to find ways to get them off the screen or simply waiting to get on. Some on the plate are JE's.
DeleteHouse and apartment are over 20km apart. We could wriggle our way out I suppose... if roadblock is nearer home then show IC address, if nearer apartment then show a TNB bill. But the 2pax/car rule means I'd need 2 trips to ferry the 2 kids home!
