They're only allowed to play on their iPads at night. That was the rule I imposed so that I wouldn't have to entertain requests the whole day. That rule is easier to monitor compared to 'can only play XX hours'. Hubby would have let them play 24 hours if they wanted. Because when they do... it's peace on earth. They won't bother you and they don't want you to bother them.

They do play many hours at night. But really, at that time I'm usually too tired to care. Plus also have no energy to do much besides surfing the net myself!
These days this is the norm. Young and old are too engrossed with their electronic devices. Without these devices, we are lost.
